There are two major flaw in this version one that the backward option is disabled and even the waveform which show were the singer has sung is incorrect and very badly animated

Normally this is a 5 star app for me. Amazing app with an amazing community. Love! Just get a subscription deal through the website and dont overpay by paying through App Store. I like the intention behind the latest update. They are starting to fix some UI difficulties especially in the recording screen. And profile updates for VIPs are a welcome addition. However there seems to be some significant bugs in this latest update. Settings like SS save 1 less when you go away and come back. E.g. If you set SS 20/20 then set volume and go back youll see you are now at SS19/19. Also video centers higher than it used to when saved - not obvious. And I think something happened to the sound quality, hard to figure out what, but it just sounds different. More muffled? Buyer beware! Oh and they still havent fixed the laggy responsiveness issue on the profile screen. Have. To. Press. Buttons. Sloooooooowly.

I dislike the fact you have to have VIP to sing solo, I understand you need money, but, at least give us more than one song. I dont even know the song. Can we have solo available to people? I dont know, but Im disappointed in the app.

For anybody who likes to sing it is an amazing app and concept. All these negative reviews seem to be people who dont know much about the app. It works great and they are always improving it. Oh yeah come sing with me dlarrison.

No matter your skill level, this app gives you an opportunity to connect with people from all over the world that share common abilities and tastes in music. Think Rockband meets MySpace (when it was cool ?).

I have become addicted to this really sophisticated, 5-star app! So much fun! I dont have a single complaint.

This app is awesome but it needs more songs that are country and popular but so far its good

Its great if you have a VIP pass but if you dont have one, you have to search for solos in the song you want to sing. And if no one is singing that song you cant sing it.

Ive been on here for 3 years because it is such fun to sing, listen, learn and make friends. To me it is well worth the price of a yearly subscription ????

I started using Smule mainly to let off steam. But it wasnt long before I made some really tight friends. The atmosphere is so supportive, and I find it entirely therapeutic. I highly recommend it, if that wasnt obvious :)

I used this app on a regular basis but so many updates specially this last one it takes forever to load and we can barely go in with so many adds and promos, it used to be a great karaoke app and simple, please fix this issue it takes the fun away and i was on it almost every day.

What is happening?! I havent been on for a week and I open it and NOTHING will load. I deleted the app and downloaded it again and still nothing. I switch my internet connection and still nothing. I think its the update?

I love this app so much its fun to sing and to get likes and comments and its just really fun

Im a singer and I think this app is really amazing especially because you get to sing with people from all over the world when you do it which is my favorite part of it but the fact that you cant do your own songs for free and you have to charge a membership when it says its actually free is the only thing that makes me give it a four stars other than that I love the app

Im giving smule sing two stars because of the fact that I dont like the new update that came today. It changed the usual features that I loved with three new things I dont like, such as when singing: background noise is brought into my recording when Im using my iPhone ear buds, the voice changer style is different, and the mic volume setting is different (which I dont like) I wish that the things I listed here were not changed. I like everything the way it was before except for the loading time and the app crashing. Thank you.

I like it but more filters and no charging would be way better

The actual recording features are great. You can create great sounding recordings. The studio effects are much better than another app Im using. The biggest problem is the lack of a ranking system. Some people create incredible recordings (not I), but you would never find them except by chance. When I look up a song; I want to be able to hear the top 100 solos, and collaborations of that song. The list can be determined by number of listens, or number of likes, or by the score you get after you sing a song, or by a combination of those things. The other big problem is the lack of a grid view on your homepage. When people visit your homepage, they will only listen to the last couple of songs that youve done; because nobodys going to scroll all the way through! Imagine your iPhone photos not on a grid but a list. You would have to scroll through each and every photo to get to the first one. Thats ridiculous! Subsequently, that leads to exceptionally low listen rates. Even for people with thousands of listeners (not I). I will continue to use this app. But I hope they fix these problems.
